So the Phorgan kiss happened, and it wasn`t hot and besides the little tramp smothering Philip and continuing when he told her to stop, what a turn of events
this day became, I mean WOOHOO!!! CHLOE JEALOUS like I wanted her to be, SHE admits that she has feelings for him, SHE is the one pursuing him and he`s in
control, this is what I was waiting for and I am now SATISFIED, YEAH!!
Is this really happening?? Seriously how long have we all waited for this besides the sex scenes of course, but hot damn I still have to pinch myself... |

I'm not so sure about a dream - more of a nightmare in the making, lol. I have always thought that Chloe should be the one to chase Philip this time and I
wanted him to be an object of desire for a change (even for more than one woman). However, I only liked part of the show (some of the bits you mentioned). We
already had jealousy shown in the cafe when Chloe had coffee with EJ. Chloe revealing her feelings was good too, albeit scantily written. But Philip is
becoming an issue for me. Sure, let's have a contest for Philip, but let's also keep his character intact. Unfortunately, he's being degraded for
this plot-driven storyline with Morgan.
Philip has always been a one woman man. Always. Now he's turning into a player. He's treating both women badly and it sucks. And Morgan is almost right - Philip always had a good heart. Another great character attribute. But the irony of her repeatedly saying it now is, he clearly doesn't have it anymore. At least not with regards to her and her father. Watching Philip cut Paul loose so cruelly one minute and then lie to Morgan the next I felt like I was watching the death of a well-loved friend. I want Philip Kiriakis not a mini-me of Victor. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy ruthless businessman Philip, but I liked the recent greying of his character. NuPhilip is becoming a stereotypical soap villain; all dark, no contrast. It reminds me of the horrible one-note angry Philip of 2007. With Chloe's return I had really hoped to see the grey parts fleshed out, with maybe a contrast between Philip at work and Philip at home or with a loved one. You know, an old flame thawing his heart and bringing back the softer parts he thought he'd lost in war. It would also have been a great showcase for JKJ to play the charming romantic he does so well, alongside the brooding mogul. We saw some flashes of that when he begged Chloe to stay, but now it seems they've changed tack again. I'm glad to hear of the latest Phloe/Chloe spoiler, it may save the day. Hopefully Philip won't be destroyed this summer and we'll get a well-rounded character at some point. As for Chloe, well that's another post...

I agree with philipfan. Chloe finally being jealous of Philip is a dream come true.
I also don't mind Philip playing with Morgan's emotion because she should know better than trust a guy she barely knows. Her father keep giving her warnings about him and she had her own doubts yet she stills decides to fall for him. As for Philip character change I'm still unsure about this storyline. |

I agree with a lot of what you said too Mutter, I was mostly happy with Chloe being jealous and being so honest and upfront about her emotions. As far as
Philip is concerned, I also don`t want him to get too dark and be a womanizer, even if it does fit the fact that he`s a Kiriakis and very powerful and of
course that would be the easy route for the writers to go, but no I preferred him when he was being written by Hogan. I wouldn`t mind Philip wanting someone
else but I can`t get into this twit being around him and on the show for that matter.
You know I liked how Thursday went but Friday, hmm different story. Him talking to Daniel and both of them talking about women like they`re meat, I don`t like it even if I know a lot of men do it. But what I dislike the most about the show is the lack of romance and dialogue. I was waiting for the talk Phloe were supposed to have but they didn`t show any of it. Don`t get me wrong I LOOOVE the love scenes and kisses between Phloe but there is nobody falling in love anymore, and relationships developping.
