I have mixed feelings on this. For Phloe I am sooo upset, heartbroken to be exact. I know we didn't get Phloe this past year, but with Jay and Nadia still on the show there was always hope. I feel like this was our only chance to get Phloe and now its gone. Jay will never come back to this show and it's most likely going to be cancelled anyway, it was only renewed for 18 months. So this is the end of the Phloe story. I can't handle that. We deserved some resolution, we deserved a payoff. I wish Nadia could leave too and we could get a Phloe ending. Even if it was done in one episode, I would take that. Philip Kiriakis never finding his true happiness is heartbreaking to me.

For Jay, I'm happy he stuck up for himself after all the false promises tptb gave him about storylines. He is so talented he can and will do so much better elsewhere. I'll miss seeing him everyday, but the show is crap, the storylines are crap and the backstage shenanigans are crap. So I'm happy he doesn't have to deal with that. I'm also happy I won't have to suffer Philip/Melanie and Philip/Stephanie pairings.

Philipfan, I agree. It seems like Broe will still win even with a recast and we never got Phloe with the originals in the role. That is such a slap in the face. If Days recasts Philip and puts Phloe together, I will flip out. That will be an even bigger slap in the face. We never got to see Jay and Nadia, happy and in love as Phloe and then to finally give it to us with a recast. No way! image
